Our Commitment
Morocco Education & Training Services (METS) is committed to making its website accessible to all visitors, including those with disabilities. We believe that everyone — regardless of ability, technology, or context — should be able to access information about our services and contact us without difficulty.
We aim for this website to conform as closely as reasonably practicable to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
We have not yet conducted a formal independent audit of this website against WCAG 2.1 AA. This statement reflects our design intentions and known limitations.
Measures Taken
We have taken the following steps to support accessibility:
Typography and readability
Text is set in professional typefaces (Newsreader, Manrope) at sizes appropriate for comfortable reading. Line spacing and contrast have been considered to support legibility on screen.
Colour contrast
The METS design uses deep teal (#1F4E5E) and near-black (#171A1E) text against a warm off-white (#FBF8F2) background. We aim for text contrast ratios to meet or exceed WCAG AA requirements. Decorative elements are not required to meet contrast standards.
Heading hierarchy
Pages use a logical heading structure (H1 → H2 → H3) to help screen reader users understand and navigate page structure.
Navigation
The primary navigation menu is accessible via keyboard and is consistent across all pages. The METS logo links to the home page.
Keyboard accessibility
We aim to ensure that all interactive elements — navigation links, form fields, and buttons — are reachable and operable by keyboard alone.
Forms
The contact and consultation form includes labelled fields. Required fields are identified. Error messages are provided when a required field is incomplete.
Links and buttons
Links and buttons aim to have descriptive text that explains their purpose without requiring surrounding context.
Images
Decorative images that do not convey meaning are intended to have empty or no alt attributes. Where images are meaningful, descriptive alt text is provided.
Mobile accessibility
The website is built with a responsive design and tested at multiple screen sizes. Content reflows for small screens without requiring horizontal scrolling.
Known Limitations
We have identified the following limitations which we intend to address:
- Image alt text: Not all background images used in the service section include descriptive alt attributes. We are working to review and improve alt text across the website.
- Colour contrast in overlays: Some text placed over photographic backgrounds in the hero and service bento cards may not meet WCAG AA contrast ratios at all zoom levels or on all screens. We are reviewing these elements.
- No formal independent audit: This website has not yet been formally tested by an independent accessibility specialist. We intend to commission a review before a major new release.
Third-Party Content
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). The accessibility of the font-loading mechanism itself is not within our direct control, though the typefaces chosen are designed for screen readability.
The contact form is provided by WPForms. If you experience difficulties using the form, please contact us directly by email instead.
